Ordered a Supercab Lariat on March 24th. Dealer said he should have the build date for me soon. Also says I should have it delivered around July. Looks like that's par for the course on the wait times. Good to know. Hopefully I hear from them soon. Thanks for making this chart!

Update: Our Ranger was delivered to dealer on April 5. We were delayed picking it up until last week.

I got my VIN number today.
Ordered Lariat Super Cab on Jan 12, build week April 1, VIN 1FTER1FH6KLA33438. No delivery date yet.

Picked up my Ranger today. Very pleasant experience with the dealer. I think this is the first time I did not get a hard sales pitch to buy an extended warranty or service package.

I just looked at my window sticker and the date at the bottom changed to 05/02/2019.
It should be on a train. So, if it is a window sticker (on the truck?) how can it change now?
What does the date change signify?
Any insight appreciated.

How long does it usually take to receive the VIN?

I just looked at my window sticker and the date at the bottom changed to 05/02/2019.

You don't see that date on the window sticker that is on the truck - you only see the part inside the border. The window sticker you see online is just a generated copy.

My actual window sticker:

The last generated one (attached).

You can see that the stuff outside the border isn't present on the actual window sticker. I notice the online one does not have the final assembly plant on it or the sold to/ship to entries either.

@Hounddog409 Took about two weeks for me to get my VIN. Not sure what it took others.

On a side note, sometimes on the tracking website the options you picked show up and other days they do not. Some days it reports my Locking Diff and other days it says Open. It does that for other people too. It can be worrying at first till you get used to it.

It took almost a month for me to get my VIN after I ordered it, however that was at the end of the year and I think things got kind of messed up due to the holidays, etc.
