Support group for those waiting for their Ranger MY22

This should be production week for me which was noted as be 1/24 a while back. I found a guy on another forum who had access to ford tracking in a way the public does not. He let me know a little while that it was slated for 1/26 build date. Checking the window sticker on the crappy ford tracking site the blend date is set to 1/28. So hopefully between 1/26 & 1/28 it'll be built. It has the Black Appearance package so I'm wondering if it gets delayed for their spray in bed liner work in an adjacent facility. Hopefully that doesn't quag it up too much. Ready to have the 'shipped' email sent & to sort out financing already. Importantly I'm ready to be driving it. This one vehicle house hold has been stale. Plus it limits trips to the hardware store which I really need at the moment.

This whole wait plus reading about the Maverick ordering woes makes me so happy I opted for the Ranger over the Mav. The Mav checked a lot of boxes in my needs column, but being it was on its first run I wasn't so sure. Super glad I went this way because folks ordering Mavs a few months before I would have (11/15/2021) have been waiting a lot longer for build confirmation info. Those who are getting it are slated 2 - 4 months out.

Once I get the shipped email & sort some financing out I'll look torward some more expensive accessories that I've been putting off. Thinking mainly of a bed rack at the moment. Nothing too crazy.

My Ranger is being shipped via railcar and I happen to have the railcar # (thanks to my dealer). My truck will be at the rail yard February 2nd, offloaded 24 hours after arrival, Then loaded onto a truck to the dealer…. I’m in the home stretch folks!

Just got a call from the dealer I've been working with at Interstate Ford in Dacono, CO checking to make sure I got my VIN email. He said that he sees cars arrive at the dealership about 4 weeks after the build date (3/7 for me). Going to be a long 2 months.

That'll be 2 weeks in a row without scheduling Rangers now. I'm glad mine got scheduled a couple weeks ago.
