Locked out again this morning

Went for a run at 6:30 central time, got back at 7:45 and the FordPass app gave an error when trying to unlock. Here’s the message I got. Last time, Ford pushed a software update around 7am saying to start the ignition to re-enable connected services, this time there’s just an unknown error.

Mine is also acting weird today. It failed to autostart from my phone this morning multiple times. If you check the ford pass app, it says they’re working to fix the bugs.

As Danny said above. I too had a finnicky app this morning-- could not remote start from it.

Got this message for the first time the other day when trying to unlock my truck. I leave my keys inside a lot when I go hiking so I don't have to carry them, doesn't look like I'll be doing that again. ?

The big issue is you need an area with good cell reception. if you hike in a spot without good cell reception then your app isn't going to work.

my remote start app worked find this morning. scheduled start at 7:05 am.

Oh of course. Luckily, I generally have pretty good service where I'm at and when I don't I just take my keys anyway. It's when the app has issues on their end randomly that makes it difficult to rely on.

That's why I got one of these. Never have to take my key and never have to worry about cell signal.

ford pass has become pretty much useless..........rarely works when i need it.

Yeah, right? Don’t let me lock the car if there’s going to be server maintenance in the next hour. Or give me a warning I need to confirm before it locks.
