I feel justified in purchasing the key pad at this point. I never felt comfortable relying on the app due to the reliance on a variety of different servers and network connections (phone to Ford, Ford to AT&T, AT&T to truck), especially since cell service is not guaranteed near me.

I do use the remote start fairly often, including this morning (it worked), but I have had it fail to start before. At that point it's just a minor inconvenience, but I sure am glad we don't have to pay for this service.

back in the 70s and 80s I remember when a physical key worked 100% of the time when the internet or AWS was down. Maybe they should bring those keys back in case something like this happens

I have the same message on Ford Pass App & I went to use it to make a payment. Then I went to the Ford Owner Site & I couldn't sign in there either.

Good thing I'm like 4 months ahead In payments!!!

ford pass has been sketchy for awhile now, and yes not working for shit today.

Yes. Same thing. Must be the service itself in general. I always have issues with it on Android though. Mostly with the Ford pass points stuff and other options besides unlock/lock/start.

I have a physical key, seems to work all the time. Just had to spend an extra $10 for a ignition ring though.
