Putting on aftermarket intrusion bars

Hey everyone

I had a question about installing aftermarket intrusion bars.

I understand the easiest way to remove the intrusion bars is to cut them. However, when I install aftermarket intrusion bars (Readylift) does the fender still need to come off?

Because my logic is, if I cut them out to make it easier, wouldn’t it still be difficult to instal them because of the fender, bumper etc. are still in the way?

Can't answer it exactly since I did loosen the front bumper.
However, here is a picture of the Readylift next to the stock bar.
As you can see the stock bar goes farther into the receiver tube so I am fairly sure you can fit them with the bumper in place.

I was gonna cut both front and back, but only ended up cutting the back bars because ive had wrist surgery and the sawzaw was just a bit too much. So i did remove the front bumper to make life easier to replace the fronts.

i also tried removing them by just loosening the front bumpers but it just was too tight.

if you cut make sure you get a good blade for cutting metal, otherwise you’ll hate yourself.

Back bars came out pretty easily with no cutting. I did cut the front bars with an angle grinder because much easier and faster than loosening the bumper.

The ReadyLift bars just slide right in. No need for the bumper to be loosened.

When my readylift intrusion bars were installed, they never removed the bumper. The old ones were cut out, and then the readylift bars have a bit of an angled interior corner so they'll slide in. I found that the readylifts seem very beefy compared to the old bars.

Both front and rear bars can be removed without cutting...and fender/bumper do not need to be removed...

Back bars came out pretty easily with no cutting. I did cut the front bars with an angle grinder because much easier and faster than loosening the bumper.

The ReadyLift bars just slide right in. No need for the bumper to be loosened.

Both front and rear bars can be removed without cutting...and fender/bumper do not need to be removed...

Remove lower fender torx bolt (from bottom) and pull fender out/rearwards just enough to allow the rear bar to clear...the photo shows that there isn't much stopping the bar from coming out...

I didn't even need to do that. Mine just slid right out.

It was definitely close but my bars didn’t have that plastic end cap so I was able to grab the bar end with pair of pliers and pull.

Yes it's super close...probably could've just forced the bar past the fender without loosening the fender... ?
