There's really nothing to compare between the two as they're totally different vehicles. True they're both good for going off road but the Bronco's main feature is it's off road capability. No other vehicle ( besides the Raptor) comes stock from the factory with 35's and Bilstein shocks and an auto sway bar disconnect. This was build to be an off road king!

The Ranger while still good off road is more of a work, weekend warrior truck and good off road truck. You have to do a lot of modding to make it great off road truck where the Bronco you can but this right out of the box. The Tremor is a step up but still only gives you 32's. Once they come out with the Ranger Raptor this will be an off road beast! ?

Plus... the Bronco will never be a daily driver like the Ranger is. 16 mpg is gonna really suck with these gas prices.

That's not impulsive, that's insane.

I researched about 9 months before buying my Ranger, long for me.

Research time was short, however, when I bought my FiST. About 3 weeks, but I was pressed to replace a vehicle totalled by a tractor trailer turning right out of the left lane.

Most of my new vehicle purchases require about 2 months of heavy research.

I don't understand the whole "brought car in for service, ended up buying new car" thing. And I would suspect car salesmen and sales managers begin salivating hearing stories like that.
I bought my first Ranger (1995) because the car I was driving at the time needed new tires.

I broke my F150 on a Saturday morning. Picked up a rental car, and didn't think about it much again that day.

Next morning got to thinking about it over coffee, and without really knowing what was wrong with my F150, decided to buy a used truck. Test drove a used Taco Sunday afternoon, wasn't really impressed. Spent a couple hours looking at Tacos online Sunday night, then looked at Rangers. Monday I drove a new Taco, used Ranger and a new Ranger.

Decided to buy a new 21 Ranger on the spot, but couldn't get what I wanted in less than 3 months so I left undecided. They called with a new 2020 a few hours later and I bought it over the phone sight unseen.

About 50 hours between breaking down and signing the papers.

It's somewhat due to the current situation though. There is a shortage of Rangers and I didn't want to wait 3-4 months if I let this one go. Also people are selling their trucks used a year after purchase for more than they paid. The worst that could have happened was I hated it and sold it a few months down the road for +/- 5%.
