Installed a Lido Radio LM-300-1001 Seat Bolt Mount With Microphone Hanger for my Yaesu FT-8900. The radio body is mounted low on the side of the console cover. At 22", this mount gets the detachable face plate and mic to a better operational level. The plastic cover that hides the seat mount bolt used to anchor the flexible rod had to be removed. I may be able to notch that cover to fit around the rod and pretty it up, but it's well out of sight so I'll save that for "Overachieving Day".

Besides bending the rod to suit position preferences, the face plate and mic holder are on gimbals so lots of adjustments are possible. As the photos show, it's a tight fit amongst the other controls and sight lines so adjustment capability is a "must have".

Nicely done.
How?where? did you pass the coax and power cables? I have a Yaesu FTM-100DR.
Got a ditch light bracket to mount the Comet antenna. But I have not figured out how to get the cables into the engine bay. Thank you. 73

Looks good. How was the installation? Did you have to drill any holes for the brackets? And lastly, where did you get them?
Install was about 45 minutes in my garage, 12 bolts total. Probably would have been faster if I had a second pair of hands to help with placement. I bought them on Realtruck.com, paid $297.45 before tax, Shipping was free.

Custom ranger pod covers. I do wish the backlight on this Rigid's were brighter. Its a subtle look. I do need to scuff these up with 2000 grit as the gloss clear is a bit to much.

Is that the Putco grille insert or the M2M? I’ve been wondering if there was a way to get lights in front of the M2M insert.

Never mind I looked at your build thread and noticed the Putco logo. Mind sharing how you mounted them anyhow?

to the left and right of the license plate bracket mounts are two retaining clips. I removed those and used the hardware included in the lights. There is solid metal for the bolts to tighten against. I left the grill inside while attaching the lights. Then reinstalled the grill. For the lights a ratchet style wrench comes in handy.

there is about 1/8” clearance between the grill and the lights.

Finished up the custom lighted inserts for the Tremor running boards. That was a blast wiring. The inserts slide and lock into the existing extruded aluminum replacing the old caps.

Now I see dirty fingerprints that need washing!

One of the coolest and functional mods I’ve seen in a while! Where did you wire them to?

Not much but my kids like it and think my dash looks “cool” now… when you get to be my age the opinion of your kids is all that really matters, huh?!

One of the coolest and functional mods I’ve seen in a while! Where did you wire them to?

Each light is connected with a waterproof connector (Dorman 91441) and connected to each other. Towards the front I soldered in a pigtail with shrink wrapped bullet connectors to bring the wiring out of the tube. I drilled a 3/8" hole for a 1/4" grommet to run the wiring out. There are two bolts that hold the front fender to the pinch welds, thats where the wiring comes out approximately. I replaced those two bolts with longer 6mm x 35mm bolts to mount two clamps with nuts on the rear to run wiring towards the front fender. Where the fender meets the body there is a plastic insert where you can run the wiring up into the fender. When I did the lighted fender vents I left a pigtail for the running board lights. Everything gets connected from there to the front side markers.

I still need to do the Forscan mod to enable the parking lights with DRL's so the front grill, fender vents, and running board lights are part of the DRL system.

What mount are you using for the amber markers in the top slot?
