Just bought my first Ranger!

Hey fellers! Long time FORD guy first time Ford truck owner and I'm stoked! My wife and I just bought a new '21 Crew XLT Sport 4X4 in Velocity Blue.

Just ordered my ELM327 so I can Forscan into the truck and shut off the ridiculous Autostop and also fix the spongy brake pedal with a ABS Brake purge. Also need to try and fix the hood gap by lowering the hood latch mechanism.

So far loving the truck!

congrats on the ranger! like the color had a mustang that color and miss it until im doing truck only stuff in the ranger.

You realize that by using the damper, within a week to 10 days, your arms will atrophy to the extent you will not be able to lift a cup of coffee.
"Man Up" and use muscle power on that tailgate !!!
This guy only used the damper for 5 1/2 days......

You buy a damper and install it.
Between one and two weeks your arm muscles start to atrophy.
By the end of week three, you have a malady known as "stick arms".
Your better half dosen't want to be seen in public with you, so your nights out consist of McDonalds drive thru's and drive in movies, all in the dark where the public won't see you.
You have to get a job requiring no physical lifting using your arms due to lack of strength.
You end up at a toilet paper manufacturing plant as a quality control inspector whose job is taking every 100th roll and counting the sheets to assure quality.
All this from buying a damper....
