RP @RANGER PRIDE had a great topic for discussion
What is the correct way to hang toilet paper?
I've done my research and although toilet paper is mentioned several times in the forum, even in sig lines Greg @GTGallop, we have never had the discussion on which way to hang it. Under or Over.
Here is my experience on the subject.
Back to my teen years, I did janitorial duties at a small office which included changing toilet paper in the restrooms. This was an electonics repair shop for a national brand that had the male techs in back and the sales ladies in the front. Being a teen, I would just grab the roll whichever way and hang it on dispenser. One day the office manager, one of the ladies from up front, pulled me aside and asked me if I knew the correct way to hang TP. She seemed annoyed that I didn't and proceeded to show me. I was kind of shocked since I had been working there for a while, none of the guys ever complained, and I probably put it up wrong 1/2 the time. Who knew "over" was the correct way to hang TP!?
That lesson has stuck with me to this day. I've fixed others mis-hung TP and educated other uneducated people who hang the TP the wrong way.
Now, empowered with that life lesson, I'm here on this forum to share my vast wealth of knowledge on TP hanging
