Does this mount to the frame or the body? Not sure I like the steps hanging down. Seems like would get caught up on rocks as opposed to sliding over them? This is the reason I removed my Tremor steps and installed true frame mounted sliders.

There’s 3 mounting points, I didn’t put them on, but they are the mounting points for the OEM side boards, they are threaded and these bolt directly to that. I bought them for the steps…no rocks around here :)

I went with the Rocky Road Outfitters - "Ranger Full-Cover-Kicker Rock Sliders - Powdercoat, Full Diamond Plate" . The primary rail sits outside the pinch weld and covers the full length of the seam. I had mine welded on at the recommendation of the installer.

Nice, what was your lead time to get them? I called and they said 14 or so weeks so I'm thinking of looking for a local fabricator/welder, I love the kickout and WhiteNuckle plus shipping is getting too pricey for me.

I’m planning to get some end of winter next year, as long as the bank account looks healthy enough. I looked at Shrockworks, RRW, and White Knuckle. I like that RRW and WK have 3 supports. I like that Shrockworks has square tube and mounting to the bottom of the frame as opposed to just pinched like the other 2.

I’m leaning towards Shrockworks as I worry about the other 2 sliding up into the body if they get hit hard.

Yea I picked up the WK from their shop to save the enormous shipping cost. Gas + lunch was 1/3 the price of shipping lol

The way it mounts, the bolts touch the bottom of the frame, can't slide up. For WK

I had ADD's. Junk. Started rusting less than a few months after I got them. They sent me a can of spray paint.

I ordered them 07/29. They told me 16 weeks at that time. They arrived on 11/02, so that's about 14 weeks.
