This has been touched on in some other threads but looking for RW experience with the 87 tune? I'm pretty sure I'll go with livernois, I'm in CA and gas is crazy here and I need to drive a lot. I want gains to compensate for running slightly larger tires but not sure I want to up my investment...
That was easy, Thanks a ton for the tip. No rub but I think I still want the after-market bars, was that an easy install, ie, the old ones slide out, new ones slide in?
Heck, thanks so much for that, until asked above didn't even consider the offset. I didn't realize I could angle the bars, will give that a go tomorrow, and if no go, I'll go aftermarket. Can't thank you enough, I thought about removing them but doesn't feel right doing so.
So the rub thing is new, I haven't gained that much weight! I have a 2.5 level and stock suspension, need new tires so wondering if I should downsize. Rims are 17x8.5. I could go for a 3-level and put a half-inch spacer in the rear assuming that exists. Also wondering if a suspension upgrade...
Also wondering if it was a shrockworks QC issue, going to see if the shop has the video they said they did of the install, but when I asked today over the phone calling about something else got a "maybe we still have it" money is money and while I don't have extra, I'm just wondering "WTF" took...
Too late for that since they're already on, are they side specific? ie, like I said in my other reply here, wondering if they just put them on the wrong side. The said they have video of the install, I'll request it when I take it back in for another install problem I had with them that they...
Yeah for sure, but wondering what the hell they drilled though, sounds like I shouldn't go back to these guys. I do see both replies are 2019 Rangers, mine is 2020 although they should be the same. Wondering if the put L or on R side, and so on.
Looking for experiences to see if I should call BS, or at the least to take my ranger somewhere else next time.
I got the sliders from Shrockworks a little over a year ago, after procrastination of a self install and a major life disruption I took it to a local spot for an install. 2020 Ranger...
Yup, good advice, a little short on time but will for sure go that route if/as needed, also these rangers have only been around since '19 but I'm sure there are few totaled ones around. I may just order the cover and then hunt for the extra piece.
A real a-hole on a motorcycle decided to punch my passenger mirror which knocked the cover off but mechanics are still good, thankfully. I found the cover https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-mirror-cover-passenger-side-rh-kb3z17d742a but there is this piece that I have no idea what it's...
All I needed was a $30 cable from amazon and I paid the $10 for forscan.

This has probably been mentioned, but you should check out forscan. You can tweak a host of other options too, like tire size. Although the other day (my auto start is disabled) I was driving through a really congested area, while idling I couldn't help but notice the mpg numbers going down so...
Nice, what was your lead time to get them? I called and they said 14 or so weeks so I'm thinking of looking for a local fabricator/welder, I love the kickout and WhiteNuckle plus shipping is getting too pricey for me.
Picked this up in November, self installed the runners although one took a hit in Sedona and is now a little offset; that was before adding the larger Toyo's and the 2.5" level kit. Looking to add Raptor grill, not sure about bull bar / bumper and the tunes make me nervous about my extended...
