I hate to admit my age, the graininess is due to being a scan of a 35mm slide taken on my old Pentax ME Super. I gave it to a mate who was running ahead of us, he was driving a Ford F100Wow Cam. I really love stories like this. Gives you a grander picture of just how wild of a ride that was. 4 days with no fuel or stops, just so cool. I showed my gf this pic in amazement of how serene it is and the slight grainier look from older cameras. So dang dreamy of a scene. Thank you for sharing
Nick, one problem is the south has been sterotyped for years. Please tell your lovely wife it's not what many think it's like here. We accept anyone, but really don't like to hear the words, "That's not how we did it (put name of town here). In my part of the south we just go about our business with respect for those around us. So, come on down anytime. I'll even buy you some "girts", and show you how to make them.
