Know a lot of you been waiting for this, so here it is. Attached are pictures and details of work done.

Only drove it 35 miles. So far all highway vibrations gone, no more shutter at take off. Smooth all the way around! Drove it up to 90mph.

I’ll keep you posted once I start the work week on Monday and start driving back and forth to work every day.

Thanks for the follow up!

The total price there seems very reasonable. Probably a dumb question but I'll ask anyway, is that $274.97 Drive Shaft Kit the actual cost of the drive shaft or is that an install kit? How much did the driveshaft itself cost?

Not sure, the only thing I did have to pay for on my own were for the flanges, two of them which I bought from Ford for $100 for both.

Definitely interesting but I am worried a little for the fact that a drive shaft that is too long can cause some issues. Excessive angles(more for those with lift kits), possible rear axle wobble(more from the shear length of the drive shaft and why multi piece drive shafts are a thing.

Does this mean its junk? Not at all. I'm just curious and concerned at the same time.

If there was axle wobble, wouldn’t I feel it?

Yes sir you would notice it. It would feel like a side to side movement if I'm not mistaken
Gotcha. Yeah I haven’t felt anything at all. Feels smooth, like I said I took it up to 90. He did say though not to mess with the lift anymore or get bigger tires or it would mess with the angles. As is, he said I’m solid.

Um tires would only mess with the torque on the driveshaft at best. As for lift I can understand that.

Like I’m not sure, not an expert on this at all. Like the notes say, he said “excessive angle & tire size will generate heat & wear on components” so he recommended I keep it as is, which I planned to do anyways.

did he adjust the angles at all?
one would think that would need to be done with the new angle of the shaft.

and dont forget to grease your shaft often...they made that pretty clear
I don’t think so, I did ask him about angles and he said they were good. I can only go by their word and hope it was done well. They been in business 25 years.

And I always make sure to keep my shafts lubed lol…
