No personal experience with them. Just always seemed like a shitbox to me is all.
I had one as a rental last year. My company got it for me to drive to Pulaski Va. It was horrific and anemic.

Drove one once. It felt like a cross between the old Fiesta and the even older AMC Spirit 2 door.

Our local police department just bought 30 of them over the summer - they put their detectives in them. I can't tell you how much us on the fire side of things have loved teasing them about it.

I always wondered how it could be profitable to build these in India and ship them here. Even with the low labor cost, Ford was still paying big $ to ship them. Turns out it wasn't profitable after all lol. I wonder if GM will follow suit with the Envision (built in China).

I also fear what is going to happen next year when these cheap Chinese import brands start showing up here. Domestic and traditional inventories will be scarce through next year at the same time we get an influx of cheap and available Chinese look-a-likes. It could be the end of some traditional auto makers.

It is interesting looking at the remaining lineup. The escape is now their cheapest non-truck at 25K. That's a whole lot of gap. Maybe they are happy selling mid priced SUVs and letting toyota, Honda, others have the rest.

Guess my shitbox meter is well calibrated.
