After months of playing wait and see, it looks like things are finally happening! With any luck, this beaut'll be in my driveway in less than two weeks, just in time for my road trip to the Bourbon Trail. I'm debating whether to go ahead and order my accessories so that they're ready to install when the truck arrives, or if I should wait to get the truck and make sure everything is copacetic before ordering anything else. (Good decisions to have to make.)

Get accessories now. Find various threads of images of said accessories or thoughts of said accessories and go to town on what you like. Oh how nice it will be for you to work on your truck the second you get it. Fine tune it to your liking. Notice how I said fine tune There is so many things for you to discover and purchase, go forth. Cool--I had no idea this site existed. My VIN is in the system, but shows as pending, so I'm guessing it's on hold until the weekend's over. Hopefully, some news soon!

I was playing with that last week. I am in Florida, and was running VIN's from online window stickers from some local dealers.
I saw one VIN that actually showed the truck was picked up at Wayne by a semi truck and delivered to a dealer in Indiana. But than the Ranger appeared in Central Florida. I guess the dealer in Indiana and the one in Florida made some trades and they loaded this ranger on a hot shot trailer and it appeared on the Florida dealers lot.

I hope it works for you. My VIN also shows pending on that site, but I know from dealer its loaded on a railroad car named TTGX 691091 that arrived in Wayne 8/19, waiting to head south. Maybe North Amercian Transport is so big my truck will show up on this site when it comes off the train in Orlando heading to dealer.

While I'm at it, does anyone have any suggestions for running boards between the TAC and the Tyger brands? The matte black powdercoat tubular ones? I like the look of both, and they're in the right price range, but I'm not familiar with either brand. Anyone have either?

10+ days to build a truck, WTF!

I would wait for the accessories if I were i were in your position. I had shockworks rock sliders made and delivered (about $1000 delivered) before I had my ranger. Ready to spend big bucks to make it mine the way I wanted. 4 months later my 2021 went into the dealer for repairs.

I’m sitting at 3 weeks in a Toyota rental with no ETA on replacement parts. I am glad I held off on the many other accessories and upgrades. Ranger will have to prove itself to me before I accessorize.

I hope your new ride is dependable and fun for you like many tens of thousands that are doing well. But if your ride has issues your gonna wish you didn’t jump the accessories.

My truck showed up at the dealership this morning, and I’m going to sign the paperwork on Monday morning! Stopped by today, though, to check it out. It looks fantastic, and I LOVE the cactus gray!
