All those discounts and you still payed 3 times what it was worth. Over 5 thou of the cost of a new vehicle went into the union retire/health package.
Well, if given the choice, I'd rather it go into the union retirement than into the pockets of the CEO. :)

Just got 1.9% financing along with and extra $1000 for Ford Motor Credit. This was on top of the $1500 military discount. My local dealer was selling the Ranger at $5K below sticker. Too good to pass up.

MSRP 35K, Tax title and (BS)addons made it $38500...x-plan and discounts (June incentives + Veterans discount)...paid $33500 cash out the door....
I can only show 35 years as an Army civilian, but no it doesn't compare so glad vets, etc are getting a break. I am thinking of Ford credit then paying off immediately....they really want you to finance and I really want to pay cash.
