Took ’Ol Butterscotch to the Health Department yesterday to get my J&J COVID vaccine - finally. Feel a little puny today.
Yeah, I gave in too and got the shot. I have one employee out with COVID and we just had another who died yesterday from it. I figure all the Anthrax shots I received in the military and this COVID vaccine can fight it out.

Yeah, I just wanted to give it time. Make sure no bad effects(they’re rare)Did a lot of research and decided to go ahead. It’s getting pretty bad around here.

Makes sense. Definitely appears it's not something that will go away anytime soon.

Dude, you must be rich. Ammo is still 3 and 4 times what is was pre pandemic. I used to shoot a 100 rounds every Saturday for just $21.00, now same thing costs $80.00. They are gouging us. Their new "model" is make less, which requires less employees, sell same ammo that used to sell for $10 for $40 plus, and we make a bigger profit with a lower overhead. There were some lessons for companies during this pandemic that will screw us big time in the future.
Yeah, and they can F right off with that.

When the pointless ban on bayonet lugs, etc. ended back in the mid 2000s, I purchased ammo every weekend when the wife and I went to the Walmart.

I already have a lifetime supply and I'll probably inherit even more when my father in-law passes away.
I will admit I'm not one of those guys that are at the range every week with that crazed look in their eyes, sweat on their brows, gritting their teeth and be all like "BANG....gotta train....BANG...gotta train...BANG...gotta train, aggh!!." :D

Some of us just keep up with our skills because many lives depend on it during our work week. Shooting is a perishable skill. When I do finally "retire", I won't go as often.

I think I'd fit in California, about as well as I would at a tailgate damper convention.

Fuk, I want tamales now.

This! I learned my lesson in '08 and stacked up deep these past 4 years. Not that I didn't have a good supply then but saw the writing on the wall this time better. But to be fair ammo wasn't as crazy then as it is now with all these new gun owners and people wanting needing to protect themselves more now than ever before. Been seeing 9mm for around 0.38-0,40/round while still high it's better than a year ago when it was double.
