Does this seem like a normal amount of seepage?

I took my truck in because it's making a grinding sound when making a hard left turn. The technician told me it was because of the eibach pro truck lift kit that was installed and I was told I need to take it back there to get it fixed. But the sound is definitely not that. It almost sound like like a tire rubbing but much more metallic and I have already removed the crash bars. I'm thinking this amount of oil coming from the transmission is not normal and it could possibly be the transmission low on oil and it pulling to one side during the turn causing this sound. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

Transmission has nothing to do with turning. At all.

With what I see on the transmission is considered NORMAL because it is simply an accumulation of dirt and debris that also got wet. Belive it or not that is true.

As for the rubbing up front I must ask what wheels and tires you have on the truck? That has me curious since you already mentioned removing crash bars.

I thought it was normal too, I just really psyched myself out because that sound is so horrible. Hearing your opinion make me feel better thankyou.

Ok what happens to be the offset of those wheels? I run the stock wheels with no spacers with Firestone Destination XT's in the same size and at full lock will hit the sway bar.

The tires aren't rubbing anything, it's a much more metallic sound. My tires rubbed a little before I removed the crash bars and it's definitely not that. I have not checked the cv joints yet. @Ranger2021 how do I check the cv joints ? Just pull the boot off and look for shredded metal ?

You can check for torn boot looseness or play.

By chance who did the install of the suspension kit? When the install was done did one of the CV axles somehow come apart by accident? I do recall plenty of reports on this form of people having that happen and then all of a sudden CV joints making noise.

I had a shop do it, but that was more than a year ago and this sound developed sometime in the last month.

Sounds like CV or the start of bad wheel bearing pack.
