Changing 18" oem to a 17" setup

So I want more sidewall and I don't want to add a lift. I want to stay as close to stock as possible and am thinking of going to a 17" wheel with 265/65r17 duratracs. I currently have the hangook 265/60r18s. I'd like to not affect wheel bearings and what not so I'd want to keep offsets the same. As far as I understand things. And I don't want spacers. I see that the OEM wheels are 55mm offset? I can only find 35mm online so far. What are my options? Caveats? Is there a larger tire for 18s that would give me more sidewall without any other mods?

Just get some factory wheels from one of the members and you will be set. Also if you dont want a lift(or leveling kit you could just put 265/65-18 tires on there!! It will fit with no lift or level.

so i see that those run about qnother inch bigger in diameter and a tad more circumference. i don't want ford saying the tires caused a failure and i don't want the tires causing a failure in wheel bearings/drive train. anyone running these here?

I used to run 265 70 17 on my truck and it did just fine and currently I run 285 70 17 which is bigger than the 265 65 18. I have over 45,000 miles on my truck and have yet to have a major issue and mind you I still run on the stock wheels.

I should add that I do have a lift kit on my truck so if you want to run 33s you have to do a lift or leveling kit.
