Can you download GPX routes for another app?

They have it for Android as well. The only question is will it show on the radio screen when hooked up via USB?

I've used OnX before. It's alright.

Check your state as well. Here they made CoTrex. It's an app marking all trails in Colorado.

It looks like it’s been around awhile so might be a user group or forum, something like that out there

Another thing is the roads, trails, etc, will need to be verified and whether or or not anything is not "showing up" ...meaning are great places left off because...? it's not satellite mapping in realtime, so people are involved ?

this is fun....they will likely have an anxiety attack when they access my browsing and search history.

I don't think any of these apps work with Android Auto. I use Gaia which will work with apple carplay but they are still working on it with Android. I have a bunch of routes and campsites saved to it so I'm anxious for the Android auto. First company with a similar app on Android Auto gets my money though

I should clarify, they work with Android phones but they won't work on the display in our trucks if you have an Android unfortunately.

Kimd of a surprise since clearly apple car play already allows it. Makes you wonder if there are issues with Android Auto??

Google just recently started allowing third parties to create map software for Android Auto. Prior to that you were stuck with Google Maps and Waze which is Google owned.

I started messing with Onx, but ended up with GAIA. I plan on one day getting a cheap tablet with GPS capability so I can download area maps to it and navigate with it. I like the app!!!! I really like how it syncs the data to their website so I can manipulate my stuff online on any computer.

Looks like Gaia is getting closer to android auto ready. Got an email saying the beta version is ready. Just waiting for the app to update so I can try it out
