I put some ditch lights on. Wiring them is a job for another day.

These come with 6 different color trims. I may switch to black. They are cheap ($70) Tractor Supply lights but a guy I know has 6 on his Tractor/Mower and gave them good recommendations for his rough use.

They have connectors out of the lights about 5 inches long and another two that connect to the lights. I have to use my own wire for the rest.

How are they while driving? I want to get a set for my Bronco but was afraid they'd be to distracting. I can't ask Sid @Msfitoy because his dash looks like a cockpit of a 747 and he'd say "not at all". :giggle:

I have not wired them up yet. I found out you have to order a harness separately.

I installed my 17x8 Rockstar wheels (35mm offset) and my 285/70/17 Wildpeak MT tires today. No rubbing with 1/2 inch lift and Ready Lift intrusion bars. They are about an inch from the knuckle.
The only thing I was disappointed in is the fact the wheels are drilled to fit two bolt patterns.

Sorry I was referring to them being up on the cowl like that. Was wondering if they were distracting now that they're sitting up in your view.

Were you able to get your bug deflector 1/16th of an inch above the hood line? I just installed mine and it is 1/16th” at the front but hangs over 1/16th on the side. I still like how it looks but just curious if you were able to since the instructions stated 1/16th above the hood line.

I’ll have to check tomorrow but I think it is close to that and does not hang over on the side.

@Ranger2021 thanks for the close ups. Mine definitely hangs down lower on the edges. However the 3m tape isn’t showing so I’m not going to worry about it. I bet it would be a headache to pull it off and retape it.

No, did not use c rossovers, just cut connectors, joined wiring. I have a super crew with nonB/O radio and no amp, so used base wiring per instruction sheet for my setup. Read on another thread where crossovers were in Ford setup already.
FoD, I installed the tweets. Very nice upgrade to the stereo, thanks for the heads up. I don't know if you're aware, but for non B&O stereos you should use the crossover. There is only a single speaker wire going to each door, so the door speaker and tweeter share the same wire. On the B&O they have separate wires so there is probably a crossover built in for B&O. Just a heads up.

I do not know if there is a crossover in the wire, but the tweeters I removed had a capacitor on them, so that's the crossover. If your old tweeters had the cap, then you probably should use the provided crossover that came with the new tweeters.
