adding led step lights. they are white when the door opens and orange when the lights are on. now I just need to know where to splice into to get it to work?
was not fun... you can read about it on the forum for lighting.

I was dumb today. I came home from work early because I was sick. After falling asleep with my dog, I woke up feeling a little better and with an idea in my head. After the add-a-leaf install, my truck turned out a little more stiffly sprung than I was anticipating, so I decided to move some of the weight I had stored behind the axle to a position in the bed forward of the axle, and closer to the nose of the bed. I was keeping a very heavy box of recovery gear at the end of the bed along with my Smittybilt tire inflator kit. So, my somewhat feeling better but still sick ass climbed into the tight confines of my truck bed and mounted more tie-down points, moved the recovery gear and tire inflator to new positions, and sweated my ass off. Was the juice worth the squeeze? I'm thinking no. I'm back in bed with the dog.

Finally swapped out my side-marker and side mirror indicator lights with the LEDs I bought on Black Friday. The swap required significant planning and strateeegery ?

Installed Weathertech bug deflector and unplugged the cursed tailgate lock.

Cleaned her up, including scrubbing the tires four times so I could apply Dura Shine. Pretty happy with the results but we'll see if it lasts as long as they claim. Sure is a lot of work!

Does suck, no? I try to pay off loans ASAP, but after a few years it doesn't really make sense. I'm close to paying off the mortgage, but it's no longer smart I guess.
paid mine off 2yrs into a 6 yr loan...rule of 78s got me though..already paid more than 50% of the interest charges.:(
So even if late in the loan, it may not make the best financial sense, having things paid for sure is nice. :) The car, truck house etc. just looks and feels better when you own it free and clear. That peace of mind is worth a lot to me.

Well, sure. I agree. I have a really low % mortgage, but still pay off extra each month. It's all a state of mind.
