Anyone running a long travel kit with fiberglass and can fit 37's?

I saw that Aftermarket HQ built a ranger with 37's but they custom built their control arms. They also put an f150 rear axle to match the width up front.

The FunHaver has 37's and cut some of the adv fenders to clear them and I don't know their long travel setup either I believe it was a one off from kibbetech.

I don't want to lift the truck.

I'd like to know if you've cleared 37's without a lift (raising up the front is not lifting the truck), what LT kit you have, and what wheel offset you are running.

If I can clear it I'd be open to selling my 16" methods in order to get 37's.

Lol even with my Old Man EMU lift kit it would be a challenge to fit 35's on the truck. Currently I'm running 33's and it does well. Besides the lift all I did was punch the front crash bars forward and remove the plastic covers. I'm also on factory wheels with no spacers.

I should add that i have sway bar disconnects

Here goes the truck that they put 37's on and you can see his ig handle. Such a sweet build.

I would like to see if anyone with the Bajakits LT kit has fit 37's.

It would definitely be possible but for me it is a bit hard to justify on a new. Truck. If I wanted a rock crawler I would buy something much older that isnt a jeep and has a shorter wheelbase then the Ranger

I like speed, hard fast speed off-road. No rock crawling.

If thats the case I say keep the suspension you have(understand you have the baja kits) and just run 35's at best. Even though we have a nice 10 speed i feel the final drive needs a regear by 33 inches with the tires

You know Frenchy, you're not wrong, I mean it is easier for me to go to 35's, (not having to buy 17" wheels), but damn man you can't tell me that that truck doesn't look fucking bad to the bones.

I'm just looking for someone to say they have done it with the Bajakits LT kit, adv fiberglass, with "so so" wheel offset. It's hard for me to find a way to mount 37's and check it out with my 16" wheels.

Lol I had no idea last November on black Friday when my truck was bone stock that I would be looking at how to fit 37's 6 months later.

Here's my setup.

I have 35s on 17 wheels with -38 offset and i had to cut and hammer and apply seam sealer on the pinch welds. And I completely removed my front crash bars and it still rubs a bit on full lock so i will have to cut 1”-2” off of the rails that hold the crash bars. I wanted to go with 37s because the glass will handle them but will need some work with suspension and frame. I have oem lower control arms so i don't know if it will be different with your baja kit

I hear you man, the things we do to stuff 33's and 35's that jeeps and full size trucks do with no effort lol.

From what I understand the stock wheel offset is like a positive 54 or something around there? I'm at 0 offset right now and I don't think that will help with 37's at full lock and full bump. I know the further we push the wheel out with wheel offset the more it bites us in the ass when we are at full lock because with a more negative offset it swings the crap out of the wheel and by that I mean the radius from the knuckle is increased. The LT kit pushes the control arms out 3 inches per side so that helps instead of going more negative on the wheel offset.

It's a close call with a LT kit and 37's that comes down to wheel offset and almost certainly trimming the fiberglass. At the moment I don't know of any other LT kit that is longer than 3 inches wider per side or else I would have bought it instead and ran shocks with like an 8 inch stroke instead of 5.25" and would have closer to 16 inches of travel instead of 12.

12 inches really is like in the middle of mid and long travel.

People won't really be cutting these trucks up just yet for another couple of years and then there will be more info.

See ya then.

Yep. Its trial and error now. I do think your kit makes it a lot easier to run 37s compared to factory arms. I want to see ol blue on 37s!!

Well good luck to you. And here I am just trying to figure out if I could get 33's with the stock 18" wheels and the FP Fox 2.0 kit :(

33's look great without fiberglass. Fiberglass makes tires look small lol.

Same wheels and tires, but with fiberglass.

My rear adapters brought the wheels out which helps a lot with the look I'll take pictures tomorrow. You can also see on post #7 but I'll take pics from the side tomorrow to show the current side look.

You’re almost certainly going to need to regear to go to 37s. The 10sp can do a lot but at the end of the day it’s going to be really slow and stress your transmission. I say within a few months regear kits will be available. The bronco will be regearable and the parts will be available through Ford performance. I think there are some gears that will fit from other trucks now but the install kits haven’t been available yet from Ford or the aftermarket.
