Last weekend I did a day trip out to Talladega National Forrest. Today I got to clean my truck up from that fun day! I got out the pressure washer and blasted off the undercarriage and wheel wells, before knocking the bulk of the crud off the body panels. And then...

...well I cheated because the next thing I did was drive the truck 1/2 mile down the road and had an "inside-out" wash. It took them 15 minutes to do what would have taken me 2 hours!

Oh yeah, I also got to see the results of my wheelin' last weekend. At least it did what it's supposed to do!

I installed a mishimoto oil catch can. Unfortunately it came with the wrong size diameter clip for the far back valve attachment. I sent them an email saying I gotta be doing something wrong cause after 45 minutes of struggling and some super creative cuss words this thing just will not connect. They got back to me the following day. Let me know ford has used 2 different size valves so they are sending me a new tube and it shipped out a day after that. AWESOME customer service experience, super impressed with that and the fit and finish of it all.

Figured out where the CHMSL (3rd brake light) was wired under the dash. Was waiting on some bullet connectors to arrive to finish the install of a strobe module but they didn't come before happy hour. Also received some tailgate seals that say they don't support the Ranger, so I have to return that. Others here have used it, but I found something else that specially supports the ranger, so I am order that instead.

Keep us updated on how well this fits please.

Yesterday I put on the Go Rhino 14 inch extension for the 2nd time because I couldn’t take seeing the stock pipe. I cut the tail pipe and painted it up to the muffler with VHT paint. Like it much better.
I tried the Plasti Dip for the first time on my tailgate logo and it seemed to work fine, but after all the coats it wasn’t smooth looking so I took it off. I followed directions to a T, but got to thinking that the can of dip I had was outside in the shed for 2 winters so it was probably defective. I’ll find out, going to try again. I had the can from when I was going to black out my F150 and changed my mind.

Did you do anything to your fender flares? Not sure if it’s the angle or photos but looks like a matte black instead of the normal metallic grey

Switched out the rear intrusion beams to the ReadyLift high clearance version. I was able to take both front and rear out without having to cut anything. Probably about an hour to do the rears. Also added the Bushwacker fender flares to cover up the tires with a wider stance. Currently at 0" lift, 12mm offset, minor felt liner rubbing at full lock :D

The fender trim is black. I use 303 protectant on it, so it does give it a richer black look.

Well, it's on, got it aligned ok, not sure I'll ever get it off!?

That looks really nice. I have the same one and I've been hesitant to put it on. It seems the area I drew on in purple will lay against the paint with no protection. Seems grit and grime will scuff the paint. Not sure if it really makes a difference seeing that it will probably never be removed anyhow.

Which brand deflector is this one? Suppose you could run 3M tape across that line to protect the paint. Or have the front of the hood wrapped in vinyl then adhere the deflector. I assume the deflector keep bug guts off the windshield?
