I bought my Tremor on Tuesday. First dealership tried to charge $4k mark up on a Tremor they had ordered to be delivered sometime in May.

Called around to other dealerships, found the exact options I wanted (Rapid Red Lariat with 501A), the price was right on both the truck and my Ford Explorer trade in so I pulled the trigger.

Absolutely love the truck and excited to be part of the Ford Ranger online community.

I also saw an FX4 in blue and it looked nice, but I worried about resale value.
I settled on silver before even seeing a Tremor because after driving white and black cars on dusty trails I assumed it would be a good balance for concealing dust a little, and also reflecting heat in the summer. I find it elegant too.


I know I want a tonneau cover and back seat protectors (for what is now my everyday trunk). I kinda wish it had a front-facing camera for tricky maneuvering. I think I'll get a pop up tent or tent trailer at some point.
For the rest, I'll get an idea of what could be nice by trawling through this forum - seems that some people have got thousands of dollars in accessories already, while waiting for their truck to arrive.

My major mod so far is the RetraxPro XR - I love it!
I'm planning to install a rack system later, but for now it's a great trunk replacement, and my MPG has already increased past the published Tremor average!

So its just a 2.5 inch Rough Country level kit, with 18x9 wheels and tires. Definitely makes it look beefier.
