hmm wondered what my truck would look like without em. Thanks! Looks great!
Just my personal opinion but I would leave the running boards on if you plan to go off-road like I already did (that's why I bought the Tremor tbh).

The steps are removable if you are concerned they will touch obstacles (mine have eaten the dirt a few times). Are there better protections available? Maybe. But for my needs these will do, and I don't have to spend more dollars for a while.

Also: I've read in places that the steps are usually the first thing the door of another car will touch, in case you're concerned about your paint job ?

Picked up my Tremor yesterday. Ordered it in early February and it was only a couple days delayed past the initial estimated delivery date. Pretty stoked with the truck. Already took the running boards off as I just wasn’t a fan of them. Ford Performance tune will be going on today hopefully.

Anyone know if the step hoops are removable from the bar?

Out of curiosity I took the steps off and put just the rail on one side. Looks better than with the steps in my opinion....but I’ll still be leaving them off.

How would it look? Would you see the bolt holes?
Yeah there are 4 square holes that the steps fit into then they are bolted to a piece in the center of the main tube.

I guess you could either 3D-print parts or get some rubber plugs.
Check this YouTube video to get a better idea (I took a screenshot at around 1:06 for you)

Yet another delay after three others. Now saying 5 more days. Hope this vehicle is worth it or I'll move on from Ford yet again.

Wait till you see how many more will be around! ;)

I love Idaho; we should go off-roading together.
Yes we should, anytime, I'm usually fairly flexible. Just depends on what time of year it is.
Where you from?

Every day I love this truck more and more. It is my first truck so for the first few days I was going back and forth with slight buyer’s remorse (coming from a fabulous Dodge Charger)... then I took it off-road properly in a 4x4 state park - it sealed the deal. I’ve been in love since. Every day that I come home from driving it I think: “I love my truck ?“

Please, be patient, it’s worth it.

Complicated question; easy answer is: I’m in CA (Bay Area).
I’ve explored Idaho a bit and I particularly love the northern half ?

Me too, unfortunately I live in the southern part, lol.
