I have collision assist and it does not interfere. I believe collision assist works on the windshield somwhere. If you have the cruise control feature, the big black box in the middle, cannot remember what it is called right now, putco makes a grill that is made with a cutout for the black box.
There are multiple sens
Added the lower front grille made by putco. Easy install. Just be careful of clips I did break one but crazy glued it. It didn't fully breakaway.

Have mine on order and will heed your warning about the clips! THX

I just finished installing my DIY bed divider.

“Why do you need a bed divider? It’s only a 5’ long bed.” Yes, I know. But my arms aren’t that long, so I can’t reach things that slide to the front, and I almost have the wife willing to let me spend the money for the Bak Revolver cover, so I’ll want a way to keep things close to the tailgate then.

“Alright, fine...but why cheap out and build it? You spent the money on an expensive new truck, what’s a few hundred for a quality divider, or better yet, an extender that can do double duty!” Maybe it was the extra 1.5’ in my F-150 SCAB’s bed, but I never used my extender as an extender, only a divider, and finding quality dividers for the Ranger is hard to do. And I could build this for $20, vs the nearly $300 of the AMP Research one.

“$20?! How??” Well, you can find the top rail to a chain link fence at Home Depot for $13. It’s 10.5’ long, so cutting it in half (60.5”, to be exact) gives you two solid steel bars that have zero flex to them. To mount them, I 3D printed a bracket that fits the spacing of the middle tie-down holes, since mine are just empty threads. Use a can of Plasti-Dip ($5) to paint the whole thing black, and secure it in place with 4 M8x1.25 bolts ($2).

“Huh. Good job.” Of course it is. I don’t do anything but. I might even go a step further and print something in the middle to add some decorative flair and a couple of D-rings. Dunno yet.
I would be very interested in buying a set of brackets from you. This is genius.

Installed the EGR Ford Matte Black In-Channel Style Window Visors last week (just got pics so here you go:

I really liked the looks of the "in-channel" style but I was worried about window operation. Sure enough, I had trouble installing the driver's side as the automatic window would come right back down as it hit the top of the channel. After trying to keep the window up by barely tapping on the toggle I almost gave up, but I stuck to it and was able to get the window to stay up. I figured if I drove around with it that way for a few days it may settle into the channel and that worked out! Now the driver's side window goes up and down automatically without a problem and I got the look I was after.

Got in a fight with my oil filter. I finally won but we went a solid twelve rounds and it was a close call with a final knockout blow from my trusty oil filter wrench I inherited from a old neighbor years ago.

It has 6100 km, or about 3800 miles for my American friends, so it was past the time for the first oil change to be done. The next one will be at 5000 miles and I used Shell Rotella Gas Truck 5W30 and a FRAM Ultra XG3614 Filter. The old oil was fairly thin and smelled like gas.

I come from GM W-body, Supercharged 3800, another easily modded F/I engine which was fairly easy to work on. I was reading this 2.3 EB, not so much. So far I would have to agree. But the next oil change will definitely be easier now that the original oil filter has been removed and replaced with one at a normal amount of snugness. That thing was on tight.

Got bored and after prepping the yard for Spring I decided to start installing all of the boxes I have stacked up over the past couple weeks.
Only thing I haven't gotten to was the 1.5 inch spacers.

Painted my bed divider after cutting it in half and putting hinges on it. Now I can put it in and remove it without having to roll the tonneau back. Was gonna add some d-rings but decided to just drill holes every 6” and make some paracord loops that I can place where I need.

I finally got around to doing a 303 Graphene coating. So that was nice.

Also I was tinkering around with ways to widen my reverse lighting capability. I kind of came up with an unconventional install by placing some spare floods pods I have in a vertical position so I could angle them at about 30 degrees outward. Tested last night worked pretty damn good. At first I thought it looked a little odd and I am still debating taking them down, but sort of growing on me. Pardon the mess of wires, I have a shipment of electrical supplies and 100ft of mesh loom coming in tomorrow.

Still working on corner mending bracket designs to close up those panel gaps. Just have not been happy with ideas so far.

We had a driving lesson, she dumped the clutch and hopped a couple curbs but it’s a good thing the truck is tough.

JK (obviously I hope), the tables at Chipotle were disgusting so we ate in the truck.

Your ride is at this point nothing short of an engineering marvel. Impressive stuff going on inside your head!

Washed it after cutting and bagging the grass and taking it to the grass dump. Then took it to show my gearhead cousin who has been back and forth with cancer the past year and hasn't left the house much because of chemo, Covid, etc. He liked it and handed me a tape measure to see if one would fit in his garage (his full-size Chevy is too tall and has to sit out). It'll be close but with a shorter radio antenna like I got it might fit.

Amazing how many of us are having to take garage size into consideration when buying our next vehicles!
Good call on hanging with your friend. I'm sure he's thankful for the company!
