What kind of roof rack are you running? Can I get a link or pics please
It's a G3 Rack (Italian made) I got from carid.com. Here's the LINK. I modified it with that wind deflector I cobbled together from a sheet of 1/8" aluminum and some U-bolts. Love the rack.

Oh, and one more thing.... The G3 rack consists of the two transverse bars across the cab roof. The basket is a el-cheapo, I mean inexpensive 4" deep rack I bought at Harbor Freight...about $60, if I recall. I just ran the roof rack arms through the basket instead of mounting it atop the arms, in order to keep the height, and resulting increase to the already considerable frontal area of my ride to a minimum.

Thanks. I've been looking for something affordable to haul kayaks and bikes when we go camping. Funny I didn't even notice basket in first post. Very clever to keep profile down. Thanks again

No problem. I had 8 gallons of water and 4.5 gallons of fuel in the rack this summer with no issues.

Nice 5.0! Reminds me of the FHP cars they had back in the 80s that were unmarked and all different colors. They had marked ones too of course.
Thanks. Coupes that haven't been tubbed and roll-caged and converted to drag cars are becoming hard to find at a decent price. I found this one in NC in cherry condition. Snatched it up and towed it to Miami.

Oh I used to hate when that happened back east. You'd be all set for spring and then some mid April snow hit and puts a damper on things. ?

Lol, 61 has been our morning lows and we've already had several 98 & 99 degree days. I'll take them anyway over that white stuff. ?

. I recessed them just a bit more than the RC ones I’ve seen. Then I moved the hoops to the rear so now I’m 1/10th the way to having a Tremor!!

Thats ok Dave, it is pretty much gone but boy was it heavy. My wipers would not even move. I had to reopen the garage door and retract the big snow brush to swipe it off.
But the good news is it will be low 80's in a few days.
