Wish I had the patience to wait for the Cactus Grey! My absolute favorite color, especially on a sports car. Also love the black inlay on the RANGER. Was thinking of doing it to mine but it might look out of place given the package...
The Oxford White and Platinum White I absolutely love. Frankly, I love all colors on the Ranger. I have seen black letters and chrome letters on the Oxford White and they looked good. I thought the chrome letters looked great, especially with the chrome package.

Today my son and I drove up to a nice overlook on the south fork of the Boise river. Mostly just dirt roads getting up there, but decided to have a bit of an adventure and came back down via Arrowrock reservoir. Still quite a bit of snow up there... definitely needed the 4WD in some spots. Nearly decided to turn on the rear locker a few times, but managed to get through without issue.

Here are a few pictures from the day:

Nice view. Truck still pretty clean.

Panorama of the view up there.

Home safe, but the buggy needs a bath.

A 90 mile road trip to visit my parents. On the way, I was goofing around with the display. One time I looked up and saw an intersection that did not look familiar. Pull over, setup Google Maps, and see the turn is 2 miles behind me. Then tell my daughter she needs to pay more attention to the road when dad is messing with the toys on the new truck.
Return trip was uneventful - Maps running the whole way home, and less time messing with the displays.

Looks great Greg! ? I'm surprised you stopped long enough to take pictures. lol I'd be out driving it non stop.

It left the factory in Flat Rock Mi. on Thursday morning. It got unloaded at my dealer late Thursday evening. I didn't get over there until after noon on Friday. It had not been prepped, still had the shipping blocks in the springs and all the factory stickers. I have a pretty good report with my salesman. I told him if they could do the basic dealer prep while we completed the paperwork, I would gladly accept it unwashed. He knew how anxious I was to get it. They did their Prep. and a quick wash and I was on my way. Had to get the wife to drive me back there to retrieve the ranger.
So I spent the day Saturday cleaning, detailing and inspecting and washing the other ones too. Grand kids were here today so only 35 miles so far. It is a beast. :handsinair:.

Phil,

Sorry I know this is a Ranger Forum but I have been known to veer off topic from time to time.

This time I was referring to the one on the right.

Load of bark....argh a bunch went between the bed and cab

I hauled a lot of mulch with my old Rangers, haven't bit the bullet yet on this one. Loading the old 6' bed on my SC was always dirty when they used a bobcat, usually a 6' bucket and a lot went behind the cab like you said. I wonder how sloppy it will be with a 5.5' bed on the Crew cab? I hated cleaning out wood chips, but I also don't like buying bagged mulch, which is what I did all last year!

The weekend had us doing the yearly trimming of grasses and wildflower garden, so the Ranger hauled the (light) load up into the woods where we dump brush. Today, even tho I'm "retired" we will be heading to a nice little iron foundry to do some consulting. Hard to kick the habit. I can use the $$$ since I just ordered one of those overpriced hinged Treksteps for the back bumper, tired of climbing up into the bed. Sometimes I step up and over from the rear tire, but I'm afraid I'll dent the bed with my knee, so before that happens, I'll install the step if it comes this week as Amazon says it will. Most other sites don't show them as available.
