Some might say motorcycling is in the blood. This is my grandpa on his 1936 Harley. Real pic.

I've got the original of this over my fireplace. RIP gramps.

Always wear the proper gear folks, like boots, hat and riding belt. :D

??? So jealous......wish we had snow like that ?
Its been disappearing since then. Starting to see grass again and the trees that didn't break are returning to their normal positions. I expect it will be just about gone by the end of next weekend. That was the most snow we have had at one time since 2009.
I'm sure you'll get your share soon. ?

In honor of Halloween I rode to, in, and through one of the creepiest places I know locally, the old Duluth-Pacific-Winnepeg train tunnel. Not terribly creepy when it's busy with families and rock climbers. But when you're alone, like I was this afternoon, it can get to you a bit, or at least it can get to me. Especially when you hear a faint train horn on the wind and crumble of rocks in the darkness.

Matt, I know that feeling well. Even with a bit of lighting, this narrow gauge rail tunnel gave me the heebie jeebies.

Our friend seen this fellow near Courtney Lake this week. Courtney is in the Ottawa NF in the UP of Michigan. We clear trails at this lake but no worry, we have packs pretty much everywhere. He's having lunch on a road kill.

Nice! I miss seeing the wolves. Used the love watching them chase the deer herds across the frozen lake in the winter growing up. Like our very own nature documentary outside the window. haha

rolled 15k this week. That’s a big milestone for me since I’m working from home now.

Hauled an engine hoist back out to a buddy, and as payment for letting me borrow it, helped him shove a Piper Cherokee into a semi trailer. Was a decent afternoon/evening for some chorin and fun to use the Ranger as a ranch hand for a few hours.

Plane had a hanger fall on it a few years ago.. my friend's father was a bit of a hoarder of cars, tools, hardware, and obviously a wrecked plane. He's been trying to clean up the junk around his farm for the last few years. Quite the project; he's hauled something like 100 tons of scrap over the last year.

As someone who works for aircraft manufacturer, the amount of airplane parts I have in my garage, workshop, and house is starting to get a little much. haha They're cool things to have, but not as easily repurposed as I was hoping. I'll probably have to do the same next time we move, just chuck it all, or at least most of it. haha
My buddy has some instrument out of a plane he spent a lot of time on, something desk clock sized. I've found that the older I get the less stuff I want, little things like a desk ornament are ok, but even that gets too much eventually.

I have heart pump on my desk, even that I'm thinking it's time to get rid of.
