With the vast number of tuners for the Mustang's 2.3L I figure the Ranger version is just around the corner.

I'm excited to hear what it puts down with a tune. My old '94 Mustang GT with mild H/C/I was 265/299 on 91. This thing is almost the same and likely gets twice the fuel mileage. All it's missing is the sound!

I don't understand why they didn't do a run on 87 octane to get a baseline? That would have been really interesting. And then compare to the 93 octane run. Since the HP and Torque numbers are from the crank and the dyno results are from the wheels - Then you'd know how much of a loss thru the tranny and rear end percentage wise you could expect.

Makes me think there is more to the story. Like maybe they were asked by 5 Star not to give all the info yet until they have a full build. It's SOP to run a baseline before you start messing with stuff.

Yeah, seems like basic SOP - In order to measure improvement you have to know where you started.

Be interesting to see what the 2.3 can put out with E30/50/85 tunes.

The 2.3L is DI for now. There are aftermarket kits available to add port injection.
