Got my homemade exhaust fabbed, painted, and installed. Loving the sound. It's a lot mellower than I imagined it would be. Little growl on cold startup, no drone at all, deep sound I was looking for. I like it so much, I'm considering swapping them in the mustang in place of my mbrp's. Washed and waxed with some griot's 3 in 1. I'm liking that, too. Then off course it rains. Quick spraydown in the car wash and we're good as new.

Side note: I unhooked the battery when I was tack welding everything in place on the truck. Now my 1 touch window doesn't work. It goes down fine, but I have to hold the button. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

There is a section in the owner's manual that gives the procedure for resetting the auto down feature after a battery disconnect. I did the same thing and thought I screwed up the window.

Had the dealer (Grappone Ford, in Concord, NH) install the Ford trailer brake controller. Three hours on a 1.5 hour job. They said it‘s the first one they’ve installed on a Ranger. Used all 42,000 of my points as partial payment. I don’t yet own a trailer with brakes, so I won’t be testing it any time soon.

Well this forum just cost me another $500.00 today. :curse: I broke down and ordered the Livernois tune for my Ranger after 1 year of telling myself I didn't need one. Silly me I should've just bought it then because I knew it was inevitable!

A tailgate damper solves all the little problems with our Rangers. Adds horsepower and torque, cancels driveshaft vibrations, boosts bass in the stereo systems, better than a snorkel for fording deep rivers. It makes the truck aerodynamic and improves gas mileage. There is nothing it can't do.

Prove me wrong.

Where did they mount the dial?

I feel like I’m getting something in the mail every day. Today? The Dee Zee bed mat...

... oh, and another tailgate damper to use to control the A/C buttons because why the hell not. ?

Eventually, the plan is to drop the $450 for a spray in liner, but this’ll hold me (and the bed) over until then.

Next purchases in no particular order are the tonneau cover, a swing box for the bed, and the floor liners. $$$$

I've always use a mat along with the liner. The spray in ones are rough so the mat is nice if you're in there kneeing. It gives you some padding against the rough texture.

They really should start selling these dampers in a 10 pack! ?
