Besides missing the long bed of the tacoma, the ford is much nicer to drive .all you need to do is drive a buddies Tacoma after a bit in the ford if you forgot . lol
To each their own, I really never had any issues with my tacoma driving but really the only reason why i went with the Ford was pricing both excellent trucks.

Hi All,

First post, and lovin' the new Ranger like no other.
Every time I drove the wife's Escape (2.0 EcoBoost) I thought "This is how an engine should pull."

'18 TRD Sport, had it 18 months and 16K miles. This is one rig I will not miss.

I replaced two vehicles! I had a Lexus UX 200 that work gave me an allowance for, but that is no longer the case with covid. Also my ranger replaced my Dodge Mega Cab. I ended up trading in my Lexus, and sold the dodge to a guy in New Mexico.

From the UK so slightly different to the trade ins above but here we go! Traded a 2006 Jaguar X Type Diesel for a 2019 Wildtrak. Had a 2009 (UK) Ranger Wildtrak 10 years ago and missed it ever since! Just trying to work out if the Eibach Pro kit will work on a ROTW Ranger platform... anyone know?

Really wish we got the FX4 style front end, no roof bars, and no "style" bar as options but they're all standard equipment!

Nice to meet you all!

Nice looking Tacoma, I rode by an all black one today and it looked pretty sharp. My son picked up a 2016 TRD Pro and I have a couple of friends with Tacomas - they definately drive differently than the Ranger. People will pay a lot of $$ for them, including my son but as I once posted they are often the locals choice in the mountain towns.

Oh My Lord!! So hilarious!! We did the same thing!! We have this NoBo 10.6 and we purchased Kia Sorento LX V6 to pull this one. Oh Boy! It throws tantrum so often that we thought it should be in toddler's program. We decided to get the real truck!
