2004 Saab 9-5 have owned a least one turbo car continuously since 1986, so the Ranger continues my turbo ownership. Last Ford owned was a 1991 Taurus SHO - abysmal quality but good to see Ford has vastly improved.

My Ranger replaced my 2001 chevy silverado.

I've been eyeing the Rangers ever since i spent 3 months in New Zealand during College. they guys that had them over there beat them hard and used them for dang near everything and they held up through it all. When i saw that they were launching the Ranger in the U.S. i knew i wanted one, then my old truck gave up at 225,000 miles and the price was right so i went for it. Couldn't be happier with it.

This is my third Ford, I started with a black 2000 SVT Contour, sold it and bought a black 2008 Ford Edge Limited which I really liked and last year traded it for the Ranger.

Besides missing the long bed of the tacoma, the ford is much nicer to drive .all you need to do is drive a buddies Tacoma after a bit in the ford if you forgot . lol
