Have to admit, the grill does not do a thing for me, but otherwise, looks good.

Wonder how it compares to the Wildtrak and Raptor variants?

Anyone else even the tiniest bit jealous the ROW gets a variety of options with some spice?

That grille has to go. I just want the Raptor to get here. After seeing a Wildtrak on the road last week, the Raptor is the only variant I care about at this point.

Looks like everyone but us here in the US are getting special Rangers.
Maybe they're saving the muscle truck version for the US.... Lightning Bolt

There is probably no chance that a diesel-powered Ranger will be coming to the States, and I hate the grill (too much bling), but it is a good sign that Ford is actively working on multiple (and muscled) versions of the Ranger, some of which will certainly be appearing out our way (at some point). Maybe something along these lines: https://fordauthority.com/2020/04/f...is-powered-by-f-150-raptors-3-5l-ecoboost-v6/

That is a HEAVILY modified truck in order to get the 3.5 to fit. I highly doubt that is coming here, but man, would it be a screamer.....

It appears the plans are to put the 2.7 into the next gen Ranger as an option.

Yeah, I also highly doubt that the heavily modified racing model is coming here, I just used it as an example of what Ford is doing worldwide and the possibilities it raises for us in future. A 3.5 would be a "screamer," as you say, and I would want one for sure, but I would be still be very happy if a 2.7 is offered as an option in the next generation of U.S. Rangers. In the meantime, I am still waiting for the Ford Performance Power Pack to arrive, which will hopefully move things up a notch in the present models.

Grille is ugly and not liking the name. Plus they'd have to market it in Massachusetts as a Ford "Stawm".

Sad, we are thought to be the truck loving country but others get the first Raptor and specialty trucks.
Guess we get Hennessey!

I actually like that stripped down bumper as long as it's steel. Not keen on our slotted ones here in the US.
