Yep I have the DSS bars. I’m still using the brackets that came with it, these are just being used as spacers. But you’re right, these are much stronger as they are made with solid bar and the two pieces together are 5/8” thick!
The brackets that came with it are horrible. I too wish they were spaced outwards just a little bit more not much about 1/2 inch or so . Glad you have the equipment and knowledge to get it done. I don't even use them to get in the truck, just to wash the roof

I don’t use mine either, they are more there for protection. I just finally got my Eibach kit in so my wife and daughter will be using them!

my intent would be to buy the "kit", including a sprayer, but I could also obtain a real spray gun elsewhere. when you say "it isn't the most durable thing out there", could you suggest something better?
Go watch a lot of the Dip Your Car videos on YouTube. He's done some good how to videos and has answered a lot of questions. I remember him explaining why the spray gun they supply is better for the Plastidip spray.

I think it'll last a good while. In my opinion, short of using spray on bed liner, Plastidip is the best choice for easy removal.

Ideally you'd want to use some high quality paint protection film. That stuff is designed to do what you're after. Plasti dip will work well, and is also the easiest to remove, but its not as durable as paint protection. I like to compare plasti dip to vinyl in durability, but its easier to remove.

Looks good but what I have found with seat covers like yours is it just allows the hair to blow all over the rest of the interior with the windows down. The factory seats seem to trap the hair better than the covers I have used. That's why I have not bought one yet. I'm not worried about mud or damage to the seats. It's the hair that gets me.

Yours looks nicer than the others I have tried over the years. Link to order?

I went with this style cover because it turns into a sling by connecting to the head rests of the front seats. I'm afraid I might launch my GSD off the seat under a hard breaking situation and I don't want her getting hurt!

That looks pretty good for $34.99 and looks like it fits the Ranger back seat pretty well. I also like you can make it a sling like you said. My dog has the habit of standing on the center console and if I brake hard, he almost ends up on the gear shift knob.

A little disappointment but nothing too big. I had to paint some areas on my trailer hitch ahead of installing it tomorrow morning. I reached out to the company to let them know it punched through the box and took some good paint off and they said here's $10 for a can of spray paint. I also had ordered the rubber plugs missing from my drop-in bed liner; they come in packs of four but there are six holes in the bed liner to access the six tie downs, so I had to order two kits. I opened the box to find out the dealership only shipped one kit but listed two on the invoice.

I know these are really big, awesome things to have done but hopefully one day I will be doing some nicer stuff to the truck.

How did you use point on that site?
You can't use your points when buying online. You have to have the dealer order it and then you can use them. When I got my tailgate damper I just called the dealer and they ordered it over the phone but he did say something like if it were a larger purchase I'd have to come in and order it in person.

Installed my "intercooler grill" today!!! :like: Took all of 20 minutes, removed nothing, and now looks "finished".

My Ranger is now a suitable replacement for the my 2010 Raptor it replaced, what do you think?

Your truck looks great. I love the Raptor Grill. Where did you get yours? I’ve been looking around for a while.

Deal of the century here. Got an oil change from the dealer with a coupon for $19.95, I couldn't even get oil and a filter for that price, let alone the time and labor for the Ranger FX4. Hah! Service writer exclaimed, nineteen bucks?

I had them take an oil sample of my factory fill too, to send to Blackstone. 6800 miles with 30% left on the OLM.
