That looks great, what kind of pricing you get in VA for those, MD is expensive and I am thinking about ordering from VA.
I paid $2,918.62 with installation. Extras included the e-lock and tracks for a roof rack.

Looks good but what I have found with seat covers like yours is it just allows the hair to blow all over the rest of the interior with the windows down. The factory seats seem to trap the hair better than the covers I have used. That's why I have not bought one yet. I'm not worried about mud or damage to the seats. It's the hair that gets me.

Yours looks nicer than the others I have tried over the years. Link to order?
Yesterday I protected my seat from my German Shepherd Dog. :D

I also got it washed because we had a bad storm the night before and my new-to-me truck needs to look good!

did not do it yet, but I am thinking about doing this...
compare-dip.webp

...using plastidip. my truck is currently taking a beating with stone chips and such in the target area, and after reading a post about dipping an entire truck for hunting, and protecting the paint from brush scrapes and such, I am thinking that dip might help me. Plus, I kind of like the look, and, I like that it can be peeled off, so if I screw it up, or, if I just don't like it, I am not committed.

But I have a couple of questions. how long should I expect this coating to last? will it turn all funny colored and washed out from the sun? should I expect any sort of damage to the paint when and if I do decide to peel it? I am sure that many of you have opinions. please share them, good or bad, I can take it. also, if you have general comments, like "that looks like #$%@", please also share those.

If you do that large of an area using aerosol plasti dip cans, it will almost definitely look like crap. You'll need to practice some before you'll get a nice smooth finish. Plasti dip can last 4-5 years if it isn't beat up too badly. On the front of a vehicle that is susceptible to rock chips and lots of bugs, I wouldn't expect it to last more than 2-3 years. This stuff is fun to play with, but it isn't the most durable thing out there. If you use regular matte black or a plain matte color, it gets scuffed and marred up pretty easily.

my intent would be to buy the "kit", including a sprayer, but I could also obtain a real spray gun elsewhere. when you say "it isn't the most durable thing out there", could you suggest something better?

Almost got my step bar spacers done... until I broke my tap off in the very last hole when I was 75% through that hole. Can’t get it out so it looks like I’m going to have to make a 7th one!

You've got the Go Rhino DSS bars right? Those look a hell of a lot stronger than the mounts they provided

Yep I have the DSS bars. I’m still using the brackets that came with it, these are just being used as spacers. But you’re right, these are much stronger as they are made with solid bar and the two pieces together are 5/8” thick!
