I thought this would be a fun topic for the group. I know a lot of us have or have had Motorcycles at one time or another. Please show us some pictures of your motorcycles with some comments. I will start out with my 2007 Yamaha FZ6. She is a great motorcycle. Comfortable and hauls the mail pretty good. I went for a ride Saturday through Oregon's wine country and to Astoria Oregon. On the way I stopped at Hagg Lake for a loop then on to Astoria. Perfect day for a ride. I have always liked Old Barns and saw this one and had to stop for a photo op. I also through in a photo from Halloween last year on another photo op.

Harley Davidson XR1200 with a number of mods. Haven't ridden it for a few years. They produced these in 1984-1985, and from 2009-2012 in the United States. They made it for another year outside the United States, I believe in South America.

My Yamaha VStar 650 and HD Fatboy . I painted bikes as part of my business and had several bikes at the same time. These two plus a 2000 Honda CBR600 race bike , a 2007 R6R race bike , a 2004 Yamaha R1 , a 2003 Yamaha FJR1300 , a 2001 HD Vrod and a 2001 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior.

Bought a 2005 Hayabusa and kept it 6 years then traded it in on a 2008 Yamaha Roadstar Raider that I just sold not too long ago. That and the Fatboy were the two favorites of my wife and we rode those two everywhere.
Most of my bikes can be seen in this Facebook Album.

The Tail of the Dragon is on my bucket list. I too have had ton's of motorcycle's over the years. Lots of dirt bikes too. I got too old to ride in the woods. I can't afford to hurt myself any more. LOL

Here's the demon in all its glory. This was taken up in Nederland, CO in December of 2021 I think (Based on the fact I still had a Power 5 rear tire, the exhaust baffle is in to keep the tune in line, and my fender delete was on)

So, it is a 2021 Yamaha MT-09 in Storm Fluo, which was a 1 year color. 1 of very few in CO, first 3rd gen MT-09 in CO to be tuned. Full Akra carbon exhaust, BMC Race filter. Tuned by VCycleNut via Woolich Racing, but destined for the dyno at Imperial Sportbikes probably this year. Bike has over 17k miles on it for being two years old. Needs an oil change, a real good bath, and a rear tire sometime following my impending move.

And yes, at full tilt, with that Crossplane 3 Cyl, it sounds like a demon, nothing sounds like it, not even a Triumph. And, between the de-cat, and my tune being a bit rich AND having injector cutoff on decel disabled, shoots fire......... It's a laughing riot and I wouldn't trade it for the world

2008 Street Glide 105th Anniversary
  • Stage 3 Engine upgrade (from 96 CI to 103 CI with cams)
  • Full Legends Suspension
  • 14" Ape Hangers
  • Mustang Seat
I put 50,000 miles on that bike. Rode two 1K in a Day challenges (1000 miles in 24 hours). Took 3 motorcycle and cigar trips with good friends. That bike had been across the entire US.

I bought the pictures from Tail of the Dragon, but I can't access them right now, so you get a low res version.

We help people sell their Rangers in the easiest way possible.
