Looks like one of those sinks with a drain board.?Tell me exactly how a dishwasher fits beneath a sink.
But I like the concept. Don't tell the old lady. ?
I don't mind the new dryers, I just hate the washers. I left a 18 year old set in my condo because they fit the openings for the new owner but looking back I miss that washer. It was only a mid capacity but for a single guy or couple it was plenty. And that's why I keep fixing my 23 yr old washer and gas dryer. Bought some of the last ones that didn't have electronic control panels. Still have the mechanical timers.
Though my washer may be past the point of fixing. Was just talking with the wife about shopping for a new one before they get more expensive and don't clean as well.
We had the fancy front loader washer dryer combo left to us in the house we just bought. We immediately found we hated that pair and Jeanie picked us out a more low tech and traditional pair from Maytag that we love. Top load basic wash cycles. KNOBS, not digital.I'll never buy one of those fancy front load washers that have 52 cycles with 15 water temps.
I'll stick to the basic top loader l that you can still get for $500 - $600. Bought one 10 years ago and no problems. Everyone I know that had the fancy front loaders had them fail within 5-7 years.
Front loader, 23 yrs old. Replaced the motor once after 10 yrs. Cleaned the mechanical timer twice and soldered a loose connection on the circuit board. Think I paid $1,200 with a dryer back then.I'll never buy one of those fancy front load washers that have 52 cycles with 15 water temps.

It may just come to that. Thank goodness husband has taken over the washing & drying the past couple of years. Think I’ll let him continue.Front loader, 23 yrs old.
