There was a post somewhere about a guy with the old square solid steel rear bumpers that had a pipe wrench welded to the top of it. Some one flagged him down an told him he was about to lose it an he said it's welded in place to keep the tailgaters back.

Look at the rim of the sink, it's a double sink with pans on top. Photoshop for sure.
I have heard dishwashers are good for cleaning cars parts. Haven't done it. Yet.
I have baked high temp paint onto parts in the oven.
Hi KJ,

I used a kitchen oven in my clock repair to blue screws for restoration jobs...heat to 450° and then pour water on them...

Best,
Phil

It's much faster to hold each screw with tweezers, use a torch to heat it while holding it over a cup of water. Once it turns blue, just drop it in :like: I did this with some screws from an old LC Smith shotgun I'm restoring....learned this trick in gunsmithing school.

I have an LC smith in 20 gauge. note the special optics.

I think you just saw one in action.
When I have the garage space, I plan on finding an old dishwasher and using it as a parts cleaner.:like:

Well I don't think new ones will be any better.

Great news. First they limited the amount of water toilets used so everyone has to flush twice now. Then washing machines stopped using enough water to get anything clean, now we'll have to run the dishwasher twice. Well I won't since I never cook but normal people will.

And that's why I keep fixing my 23 yr old washer and gas dryer. Bought some of the last ones that didn't have electronic control panels. Still have the mechanical timers.
Though my washer may be past the point of fixing. Was just talking with the wife about shopping for a new one before they get more expensive and don't clean as well.
