LOL, know that one..Been well, following your posts and others since I joined in 2019. Wife and I are moving, finally pulled the plug and leaving California for North Carolina, a bit sad too, born and raised in SoCal, State is circling the drain and its time for greener pastures, literally.
Yes it's sad to see what's going on there and several other states now but the whole country is just a mess now. Good luck on your move and your new life in NC! Moving sucks and we just did it twice in the last 2 years but this looks like it'll be the last as we really love the area here. There's some beautiful mountains and scenery there and I'm sure you'll have plenty to see and do. You might be able to meet up with Sid @Msfitoy as he lives there. Just look up in the sky at night and follow the light beam. lol
Morganton, we're taking a small load out next Friday, move will probably take place by 1st of June ish.
Agree, don't think anywhere is normal anymore, we will have family and friends there, I've been retired and my wife is now retired, better environment for us older farts. Msfitoy did ask where in NC I was going.
It’ll come faster than you think! So is the two hours as the crow flies? Some states two hours can be 150 miles and others it can be 30 miles.

That's nice and wish we had those here. I had rooftop solar on my last house and it was great not having an electric bill and only paying for the fees/taxes which were around $17.00/month. I paid for mine (not leased) and the ROI was only 7 years and I'd do it again but they took away the net metering so the values not really there anymore.
