I hate wiring and could use some help. I have diode dynamics SSC1 pods with red backlight. I'm going to have them rear facing and wire the backlight portion to my tail lights (not brake lights). I picked up a wiring harness when I got the lights that had a built in 3 way switch. I'm planning to cannibalize the harness and use my trigger system. Below is the harness diagram and the colors are below. There is blue, yellow, and black coming from the pod connector (B). My thoughts are take the blue wire from each end (B) and splice into the taillights. Then tie the yellow to yellow and black to black to merge the pod connectors to one. Then I could just run the yellow as the positive to the trigger and the black. I basically just ignore anything to the right of the red slash in the picture.
- Blue: Backlight
- Red: Power In
- Yellow: Main Beam
