How have you guys run wiring into the truck from the roof for lightbars and such?

idealy I want to run the wires into the engine bay to a relay block and then into the cab. I see lots of info on running wires into the cab, but what route did you take to get to the engine bay?

The easiest way would be to use one of the new fancy wireless remote switch panels (Trigger 4 Plus for example). KC makes a universal wire hider that attaches to your windshield. The Trigger 4 isn't cheap, but makes wiring a breeze and eliminates any leak issues if you chose to drill through your roof. The Trigger system has an app that you can control with your phone, as well.

I'll be ordering it for my next vehicle. Friend has the 6 channel system and it works flawlessly. Stupidly easy to install, as well.

I have a remote set up already designed and built for it. I was mainly looking for something like the universal wire hider. That's pretty much what I was looking for.

Thanks a lot

Relay under hood then to switchbox then all lighting goes directly to switch box from any location.

In my case I have an RCI bed rack so my roof lighting and all lighting from the bed and backare hidden by that and the wiring runs down between the gap of the cabin and rear bed to an access hole under the driver floor board. Then the wiring comes up by the pedals. Not a lot of people realize this access point exists and skip the headache of the firewall.
