In the past, prior to having a garage, I used a push broom for anything over 4" or so. Now, and the last 30 years, I've parked in a garage. What little snow that accumulated when I was out, a traditional snow brush worked. Ranger is a little tougher, have to stand on running boards to get the roof.

I have a Sno Joe snow broom in each vehicle as well as scrapers for the glass.

There is always the debate whether you have wipers up or wipers down when you park during a snowstorm.
I always left them down unless there was an ice storm. Then you're better leaving them up or you'll have a heck of a time trying to free them from the windshield. Ask me how I know!:rolleyes:

Up especially if vehicle is warm when you park and it's precipitating with freezing temps. The precip or melting snow from the warmer windshield will freeze the wipers to the windshield when it cools.

Glad to see that no one has said just get in and drive and let it blow off blinding others, saw that too many times in Denver - mostly from Gen X and Zs . I moved to Pagosa Springs CO and lasted 2 yrs, the 1st winter endured 135" of snow in what the locals term a near "U haul" winter where a good number of the population loads up the U haul and hits the road. Now in Grand Junction where there was I think 6" for the winter last year and it melts before one needs to shovel.

I live in a place that it never snows, one of the main reasons I do live here. If I want to visit snow, the Sierras are a close drive. What I don't like is the fog which has settled in the last few days. The sun never breaks through. 42 degrees at night, 48 degrees for a high. I think I will take a drive up into the foothills where the sun is shining.

I have a "snow joe "foam brush and a "snow- moo-ver . Snow Joe is a POS
Found the "Snow Moo-ver" on Amazon. Its heavy duty , last snow brush I'll ever need to buy.
That one looks good. I actually have the snow brum but have used very little. If I don't like the durability I'll look into the moo ver.

Yeah, that tule fog sucks. I've driven I-5 from the grapevine all the way past Sacramento in that just following tail lights. We get an inversion here where the sun never comes out and it's sunny and warmer in the mountains.
