I use RainX windshield washer, but every once in a while, when it's humid outside the windshield gets a layer of fog or moisture on the outside. It wipes off easy but within seconds it comes right back. It takes several miles of driving before it stops fogging up. It is so damn annoying and is a safety concern. It is usually pretty warm out when it does it, so using the heated defrost is not desired. Are there any products out there that would prevent this? I am sure Dave would probably chime right in with Graphene 303. Would that work?

That’s condensation forming on the outside of the glass. Warm, humid air hits a cooler windshield and fogs it up. Rain-X can make it look worse because it beads the moisture. Graphene 303 might help, but it won’t stop the fog. You’d need an exterior anti-fog product like Rain-X Anti Fog or Aquapel Anti Fog.
I just looked at those, they are intended for use on interior glass.

Thanks! Reading the description, it's seems RainX itself is causing the fogging. Maybe I need to stop using it.
Glass X is a graphene nano coating. Isn't that what 303 is?
I believe so.

Let us know how it goes. According to some reviewers on Amazon, it can leave cloudiness or swirls. But I would think you just have to apply it correctly and buff it good.

Which is basically what you have to do with Glass X. Apply, let sit for a few minuets, then buff off.

Then spray your windows with water to make sure it works

Invisible Glass has a window cleaner with coating in it. It buffs out much easier than RainX and seems to work well for me at least.
To be clear, the RainX I have been using is just the wiper fluid. Which after info learned in this post, I will probably stop.

You probably already know this, but 303 is not designed for glass. I have never tried it on glass, but I once made the mistake of getting a little bit on clear plastic. Bad move. Very difficult to bring back the clarity. PlastX was the savior.

It's pretty obvious on the 303 website that it can be used on glass, paint and metal. No mention of plastic. User error?

I'd use a product like Driven glass cleaner, then reapply whatever water treatment you desire.

I'm not sure where you can find it locally, I've never seen it in any stores I've been to.

Personally I always hated rain repellents cause of the fogging issues in humid conditions, and seeing hundreds of water beads zoom up the glass is distracting as hell to me, but that's all personal preference.

Oh yeah, user error from overspray. As to using it on glass, see below:
