Windshield - Off gas

I get a nice Terry towel and get HOT water on it. Wring it out good. Kids bought me one of those handles with a pad on it for hard to get to windows. I drape the hot towel over the pad and clean the glass. Works great.
In 1969 my dad bought a ‘69 Chevrolet Townsman wagon with a black interior. The off gassing was so bad it almost killed him. Put him in the hospital a few days. Doctor said it was Hydrocarbon Toxicity. Sold that wagon and bought an older car with a light interior. He was fine in that car.

If you get a lot of build up on your windows and it seems that you just can't get the streaks out. You can always us a fine clay bar with window cleaner (use the cleaner liberally to keep the window wet) to remove the build up then follow with a good waffle weave and window cleaner for a perfect finish.
