Not a law actually. You can have just liability on your vehicle and then you get to pay out the @$$ on a new windshield depending on the vehicle. I have also learned it depends on the insurance company and state to what you get for glass coverage availability. In Colorado GEICO claims Colorado does not offer glass coverage. State farm offers 0 deductible. Progressive offers $100 deductible glass. Can't speak for other companies but it will vary state by state unfortunately.I've been tempted. Already had my 2023 Tremor windshield replaced once due to a road chip. AZ law: zero deductible on broken windshields. They send two guys to your home at different times. One replaces the windshield. The other realigns the camera behind the mirror.
