Hey all

The first week in my new Ranger has been awesome. I love the truck and can't wait to dump a ton of money I probably shouldn't into it. Anyways, these taillights are massive. I'm looking to get rid of the giant red distractions but still maintain the proper function of the blind spot indication sensors. Does anyone know if tinting will affect the sensors to any degree?

Otherwise, I know tinting tail lights isn't the best idea because they're meant to be seen and what not.. Are there any aftermarket tail lights with the sensors built in? I'd imagine they're expensive if they do exist..

Thanks in advance!

**Sorry if there is already a thread on this but my search came up with nothing :)

Considering they are radar based just like the front adaptive cruise sensor which is inside an opac black plastic case I would say no.
