I am thinking about getting the Fox Ford Level with 265/70 BFG's.

I'd like to run 1.5" wheel spacers to push the tires out for a wider stance.

Would running spacers affect the Ford warranty?

I have to agree about the possibility of causing a failed wheel bearing. Also you want to be aware that wheel spacers should be avoided at all costs. If you want to change the offset of your Wheel and Tire I would suggest getting a different wheel for the fact that you can still use all of your lug studs with the full length to hold the wheel on. As for the tires and leveling kit so should not cause any warranty issues. One of the big things about warranty is it has to be proven that the aftermarket part caused the failure.

Warranty would be affected if the Dealer can prove the mod - wheel spacer - was the cause of the issue.
After MUCH research I recently installed Faction Fab 1 inch spacers. I am extremely happy with them.
You will get MANY opinions on spacers - many negative (from people that never used them) but if you get a high quality spacer like Faction Fab or Bora and follow the correct install and torque directions it is very doubtful you will ever have an issue with the spacer. As to a wheel bearing - who knows - they ‘may’ have an impact as you are pushing the wheel out a bit ( just like an offset wheel).
Both of those spacers bolt to the existing studs and your wheel is then bolted to new studs that are part of the spacer- providing the same amount of thread as your oem studs. You have 2 sets of studs

The above poster is correct. It is called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act passed by Congress in 1975: https://www.autocare.org/government-affairs/issues/magnuson-moss-warranty-act/

Cliff Notes: They have to prove a non-factory part caused the defect, damage, etc etc to deny warranty service.

Also posted above is buy quality parts. If a set of four 1.5" wheel spacers cost $60 on eBay or Amazon chances are you want no part of it. A good/safe spacer is going to be machined from a single block of T6 aluminum with at minimum grade 8 pressed studs and be hubcentric.

I did not buy Bora or Fab, but the company I bought from (CustoMadeOnly) does meet the above criteria and are located in the USA. A set of four 2" non coated spacers was about $170.00 I have no doubt they could ask for $200+ if they provided a finish to them.
