Is anyone using a wifi battery monitor to remotely monitor your Rangers battery condition? I see lots of Bluetooth devices but not so much for wifi. I want to monitor battery voltage while my truck is parked in our garage for a couple of months when we’re out of state.

I know that this doesn't answer your question, but I would spend the money on a Noco Genius5 charger/maintainer and leave it connected while you are away.

I thought about that too. May end up going that way.

I just found this caution note in the Nono Genius manual. The repair mode is not for use with AGM? I know, technically AGM is a type of lead acid.
CAUTION. USE THIS MODE WITH CARE. THIS MODE IS FOR 12-VOLT LEAD-ACID BATTERIES ONLY. THIS MODE USES A HIGH CHARGING VOLTAGE AND MAY CAUSE SOME WATER LOSS IN WET (FLOODED) CELL BATTERIES. BE ADVISED, SOME BATTERIES AND ELECTRONICS MAY BE SENSITIVE TO HIGH CHARGING VOLTAGES. TO MINIMIZE RISKS TO ELECTRONICS, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE USING THIS MODE.

An AGM battery is a lead acid battery, so it is compatible with the Noco. Besides, using it to maintain the battery won't cause a repair mode to be used. The Noco has an AGM mode for charging and maintaining a battery.

this the one Ford Relabels.

https://www.amazon.com/CTEK-40-206-5-0-12-Battery-Charger/dp/B00CD44RQO?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Used it on my MY22 Ranger and MY21 Bronco Sport and now on my MY23 F150. I connected a pigtail from the battery thru the grill. Remember to connect the NEG to the frame. It set up for motorcycle & car as well as Reg & AGM batteries. Also has a recondition mode I run TAX & Turkey time like my smoke detector batteries.

During trips away or anytime we don't drive for a few days, I use the same CTEK 5.0 and pigtail configuration tucked in behind the grill. Easy to reach through the Lariat grill openings. The included alligator clamps are handy for using temporarily on a second vehicle.

Thought so. But I would probably only use it for repair mode once in a while, I don't have a garage and would have to run a fairly long extension cord for a maintainer. But I could use my solar back up generator to run a repair mode.

I have three different chargers all Schumacher and have done me well over the years for everything cars, trucks, boats and lawnmowers, some nights in the winter I put the trickle charger on it over night
I even use one to rejuvenate 145AH Telco AGM batteries, 8 of them will run a whole house for a few days without sun they are a Beast!

LOL the Everstart Sucks! not worth the $5 at walfart
the big one brings the battery up to 15.7v and holds it for a few min. then drops back to 12.5v and slowly ramps back up to 13.5v and will hold it there (Float - Accumulate) for as long as you need it to.
and damn can I recommend the 145ah telco batteries I put a 2200W inverter on one and ran it for 12 hours with lights and computers and it was still at 12.5v when my time clears up in the new year I will be doing some testing mainly focused on Solar, there is so much miss information out there around batteries, Panels and inverters its not funny, and they guys Hyping that piece of shit EMPshield
10,000 youtube videos from people with zero Electrical Design/Engineering background LOL

We have the magical Ford App...oh right...it doesn't do stupid things like tell your battery's voltage...but if you can't connect to your Ford App that means your battery's dead...brilliant!
